Girls Flag Football

This season, Athens and Troy both had a new club opportunity: Girls Flag Football.

🎥 by Anna Holt, a Creative Guild Student Producer.

This was the first time that flag football had been played in the fall, and the league consisted of Athens, Troy, Lake Orion, Avondale, Waterford Kettering, and Waterford Mott. The fall league was a test run for the newly created league that the Detroit Lions Football Education started in 2022. The games are normally played in the spring, but this was the first time it was played in the fall. This season, the Colts went 3-1 with wins against Waterford Mott, Waterford Kettering, and Avondale. The Red Hawks went 2-2 with wins against Avondale and Waterford Mott.
