Instrumental Music in TSD

TSD World Class Podcasts returns this school year with a new episode produced by Boulan Park Middle School student Meera Iyer.

Performing arts have been a big part of the Troy School District for a long time, so what does this program offer? What is the lasting impact of music education on students and teachers?

In this episode, we hear from students and teachers throughout many schools in the district who share their experiences in band and orchestra. A talented contributor with the Creative Guild, Meera Iyer conducted 10 separate interviews to edit together for a single, all-encompassing episode about instrumental music for grades 5-12. This is her first time scripting and producing an audio project at this scale, and she is excited for everyone to hear it!
